How about, this post is stupid. Maybe those ‘creepy mascot outfits” are all the person could afford right now and just wants to be accepted by what he/she thought was such an open minded, welcoming fandom.

Average mascot outfit costs about $200.

if you have $200 to spend on a creepy mass produced easter bunny costume, you should be able to control yourself and save another $100-200.

It’s pretty easy to find decent fursuit makers who will make a partial suit (head/paws) for about $300-400.

And my thing, if you can’t afford a costume don’t get one.

if your choice is between meeting rent and buying a costume you need to reevaluate your priorities.

Furries are accepting. You don’t need to a costume for that.
